A heavy breeze and the odd spot of heavy rain didn't deter the sailors or the onlookers, who lined the coastline near Carraroe to watch traditional Galway hookers race  up and down the bay.

This is a panorama image of the Long Walk created by joining together about 15 images using Photoshop. The picture was taken at low tide. The panorama shows a distorted view - in reality, the row of houses form a straight line. To the right of the image is the mouth of the Corrib and Nimmo's Pier and to the left is Wolf Tone bridge.

Because the image is much longer than it is tall, bear in mind that a print will have a lot of white space above and below the image.
