This shows the upper part of Upper Pine Lake looking down towards Pine Creek Canyon. The smoky vistas of the day before have finally given way to the fabled Sierra clarity.
Western Anemone or Western Pasque Flower This ended up being my favorite shot of the hike and pretty lucky! It's a great high elevation flower, here at 7000' on the side of Mt. Shasta with a small bee.
