WWII Re-enactment - Williamsport, MD : On Saturday October 8, 2011, I had the pleasure of attending a WWII Weekend at the Springfield Barn in Williamsport, MD. While the turnout was not huge, the quality of the event was outstanding! German, American, and Russian troops were scattered all around. Some of them were situated in the old buildings surrounding the barn. The condition in which these building were, contributed to the realism -- you truly felt were had been transported back in time. The skirmish between the Allied and German troops was well done. Toward the end of the skirmish onlookers were encouraged to head to the barn where a German field hospital had been set up. I am DEFINITELY looking forward to attending this event again next year!

Antietam and the Eisenhower Farm : OK, Antietam and the Eisenhower Farm in Gettysburg really don't have all that much in common other than they had events the same weekend. I was very happy to go over the Antietam to travel back in time to the 1860's, travel home again, and then travel back in time to the 1950's-1960's. Hope you all enjoy the photos!
