Its a Bugs Life : We are all too much inclined to walk through life with our eyes shut. There are things all around us, and right at our very feet, that we have never seen; because we have never really looked. ~ Alexander Graham Bell

As stated on page 3 of the magazine Blanco y Negro on Sunday April 6, 1930, Urech (my father) won the first prize of Photographic Information Contest of the magazine, worth 500 Pts, along with A. As written in the magazine: The "Graellsia Isabellae", to which this information relates, is our beautiful pine parasite that was classified by the Spanish naturalist Graëls, who dedicated it to Queen Elizabeth II. It is prized by naturalists, and their interesting biology, has the curious detail of development of their colorful wings in fifteen to twenty five minutes, process to which this information is faithfully devoted.

The panel of judges was composed by journalist J. Campo Moreno and photographers Virgilio Muro and Alfonso Sanchez, "Alfonso", the latter one of the most prestigious Spanish photographers of the last century.

I don't know which camera was used, but the negatives are celluloid "plates" of 95mm x 145mm
