2014 - Blodgett Lake : 12.5 Miles in with a gain of 2660 in elevation. This lake sits nestled under 3 rocky mountain points! This was my very first solo backpacking trip and it was GREAT, but a bit grueling for a couple of out of shape girls like us!!

Grey Wolf Peak -2012 : This was an overnight trip into the Mission Mountains, to hike up Grey Wolf Peak. The trail is less than desirable, no trail maintenance (EVER) and steep made this a tough hike, but when you finally get to the high alpine area, it is amazing.

BEAR - Food Hanging System : This is The "BEAR" System!
 "Backpacking Enthusiasts And Recreationalists"

This is a food hanging system, to help you spend more time enjoying your hobby and less time worrying about how you will hang your food and garbage to keep it safe from bears and other wild animals! This system allows you to get the rope in the tree easier, and reduces the pull weight of what you want to hang by 2/3rds, making this process MUCH EASIER!! The entire system weighs just barely over 1 pound and costs $100. plus shipping.

There is a 1 year satisfaction guarantee, and please allow time for deliver since each system is hand made by your fellow backpacker! Give us a call or email today for more details. 406-542-9553 or D.Krause@Bresnan.net

Flowers & Food : We create all of our own backpacking food with a dehydrator. It is nice to be able to spice it up the way you like it and we enjoy the challenge of learning how to make our menus better and better! We also like to supplement our trips with fresh salads and fruit when we can. Use extreme caution in identifying any wild plants or fruits before eating, we highly recommend taking a good plant book with you. Beware of allergic reactions as well.
