Blue October : Blue October Austin City Limits Music Festival Friday September 22, 2005 " Blue October put on a great show. The sunset sure didn't hurt their performance either. A crowd of young and old alike, Blue October apparently appeals to a range of folks most of whom were on their feet and singing along. A Texas band from Houston and now residing outside of Austin in San Marcos, they seemed to be quite a hit. Dancing all about, arms waving in the air, Blue October saw the energy of the crowd and fed off of it. They even played some songs from their new album, Foiled, due out in early 2006. ACL Music Festival 2005 - Saturday : I love attending ACL, but this year's festival also made me a former fan. The dust was so thick that I got sick and had to give away my Sunday pass. But, it made for interesting pictures.

Dirty Dozen Brass Band : The Dirty Dozen Brass Band is a world famous music machine, whose name is synonymous with genrebending romps and high-octane performances. They have revitalized the brass band in New Orleans and around the world, progressing from local parties, clubs, baseball games and festivals in their early years to touring nearly constantly in the U.S. and in over 30 other countries on five continents.
