Alaskan Cruise : In August 2006 we took our "visit Alaska before you die" trip. The Seven Seas Mariner, a Regent Seven Seas ship, was our cruise ship. Victoria Falls and the Victoria Falls Hotel, Zimbabwe : We wrapped up our safari trip with a short visit to Zimbabwe to stay at the Victoria Falls hotel and see the falls. The hotel has the feeling of an old Explorers club. At any moment you expect someone in full safari gear to walk in boasting of his latest trip to the Congo or such. Game trophies litter the walls alongside life size portraits of English royalty. A short walk away, Victoria Falls lives up to its reputation as one of the seven natural wonders of the world. An overview of the entire trip can be found here.
