The Wild, Wild Wickecheoke : Well, maybe not so wild on the morning that I was there. Actually, the Wickecheoke Creek has been running low this August (2008) due to little rain. I had been hoping to catch some fast water but that didn't happen! But I've seen this little creek in a rainstorm and it really can get pretty wild! Honest.

The Wickecheoke Creek enters the Delaware River just above Stockton, NJ and passes through some of the prettiest scenery in west central NJ.

This is New Jersey? You Bet It Is!! : On my travels throughout the area I often wind up getting "lost". This is purely intentional because it affords me some of the most beautiful scenery around.

When most people travel through New Jersey, all they see are the large urban areas between New York and Philadelphia and this is the impression they are left with. If anything, that's just a small part of the state that should be ignored. New Jersey has many beautiful areas that escape most visitors' eyes.

Some of the photos in this album will be in small groups because I will not have enough of them from one area to make up an entire gallery. Others are here simply because I have no idea where I was when I took them, other than it was somewhere in New Jersey.

Lambertville, NJ - Second Saturday : These photos are from the Second Saturday event that took place on July 12 in Lambertville, NJ. It caught me completely by suprise! It was wonderful walking around town visiting shop and art galleries that stayed open late for the event. Fortunately I had my camera with me!

Grounds for Sculpture : Grounds for Sculpture is a 35 acre sculpture garden located in central New Jersey. It was built on the old New Jersey State Fairgrounds in Hamilton. Whilst wandering the grounds one can admire contemporary sculpture or suddenly find oneself in a scene from a Manet or Monet painting. It's not unusual to stumble upon life-sized figure dressed in 19th century clothing. More than once I've found myself saying "excuse me" to a statue.
