NewYorkCity > popular all-time > This is a portion of one of the sculptures flanking the entrances to the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House at Bowling Green, Manhattan - right at the bottom of Broadway.

The sculptures, called 'Four Continents', were created by Daniel Chester French (1850-1931).

French is best known, perhaps, for being the creator of the statue of a seated Abraham Lincoln, which is housed in the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C.

In terms of processing, I first desaturated the image, then applied an action called 'Smaragdify' to it. I deleted the mask-layer, before flattening the remaining layers into one. I then Smart Sharpened a tiny bit (Gaussian Blur)
