WOOLWICH : I have been collecting postcards of woolwich for years. I would like to show them here, but someone is bound to start whining about copyright.. Lately I have been recording the changes in this town where I worked most of my life.. These pictures are nothing special..just some of my recent pictures of Woolwich, There are a great deal more, I just put up a small selection here. All my Woolwich pics are also on file at the Greenwich heritage centre.

The Crossness Engines : 20th October 2008. The Crossness engines was the final part of the great London sewer built by Joseph Bazalgette.
The building houses four huge beam engines, one of which has been restored to working order.
This place does not open very often but when it does it is well worth a camera visit
