Something about the way this Mallard pair was moving told me they were about to take off, and I just had time to set the camera to continuous focus mode before they did. Then they did me the favor of flying right across in front of me. I only had time for five shots, and this is by far the best. View large for the best detail
Oregon > popular all-time > The park after a rare snowfall, in January of 2007. The different lights, the darkness, and the snow thoroughly confused the camera's white balance system, but I liked the way it came out, so I left it as shot.
