One of many new Community Rooms at Lake Minnetonka Shores gives residents comfortable chairs and read, chat, play games, watch TV on large flat screen units and to keep warm with a ubiquitous fireplace in an open, quiet environment.

Evan Neenan, left, three, and his older brother Finley, five, traveled from N.E. Minneapolis with their mom to participate in 'Farmyard Funday' at Gale Woods Farm Friday, March 30, at the Three Rivers Park District's Minnetrista location. Evan and Finley helped farm volunteer Bob Dykoski comb Mimi, a nine year old Guernsey milking cow in the outdoor barn area. Mimi produces nine gallons of milk a day. Kids and their parents explored the barn and helped with chores, visited classrooms to learn farm crafts, cooking, and played games.
