Virginia Senate Honors Gymnast Gabby Douglas : The Virginia Senate recognized Olympic Gold Medalist, Gabrielle Douglas on Tuesday, February 12, 2012. Sen. L. Louise Lucas introduced Ms. Douglas on the Senate Floor, where Gabby accepted a resolution commending her for her performance at the 2012 London Olympics.  Ms. Douglas was accompanied by her Mother and sisters.   There were several guest in the Senate Chamber, including Washington Redskins player, DeAngelo Hall.

Joe Biden - Road Map to Virginia : On the last day of the 2012 campaign, Vice President Joe Biden & Dr. Jill Biden held a grassroots rally in Richmond, VA.   Long time Obama-Biden supporter John Mellencamp performed to a crowd of 1,200 on Monday, November 5, 2012.  This grassroots rally was held at Historic Tredegar Works in Richmond, VA.  Sen. Mark Warner and former Govenor Tim Kaine also spoke at this rally.

The First Lady's remarks included why it is important for Virginians should support her husband for a second term as President of the U.S.A.
