Greater White-fronted Goose
Greater White-fronted Goose (Anser albifrons, Oie rieuse, Bläßgans) photographed at Neary lagoon in fall. This goose belongs to the order of the anseriformes and the family of the anatidae. The larger individual is a male, the smaller a female.

The Snowy Plover (Charadrius alexandrinus, Pluvier à collier interrompu, Eurasiatischer Seeregenpfeifer) is an endangered specie belonging to the order of the Charadriiformes  and the family of the Charadriidae. This one-legged individual was photographed early in the morning at the Scotts Creek State Beach.
 > American Coot
The coot (Fulica americana, Foulque d'Amérique, Amerikanisches Blässhuhn) is a common bird in the fresh waters of North America. This individual was photographed in winter, at the Neary Lagoon.
