Washington County General Baptist Congress of Christian Education : As a Believer and Photographer this is my second Congress. Both times I walked away with wonderful images but most importantly a renewed vitality in the believe that God is real and as a People we will continue to grow and prosper in this great land. Each time we come together the educators tasked with delivering Gods Message to his people demonstrate their preparedness simply by the number of new and familiar faces that keep returning to be fed the word of God. The fellowship I saw children experiencing was rewarding. The many men and women that sat together sharing the word and telling personal testimonies of Gods Power will be remembered for a very long time. Each speaker and singer that took to the podium shared their power of speach and song in a way that only a person filled with the spirit will have. I need only to say a few words about our key note speaker Dr. Isiac Jackson President, General Missionary Baptist State Convention of Mississippi. I heard Pastors yell "Tell it Jack" or "Gone Jack" while patting their legs to the point that it had to hurt! Dr Jacksons Photographs show why they Yelled "Tell it Jack". I look forward to next years convention with a renewed believe that our children will adapt, overcome and succeed. Mr Ralph Jones

Eta Phi Beta Women Honoring Our Founders in 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Greenville Mississippi : I have to admit that I crashed this celabration in the name of all of the women soldiers I knew that were members of fraternities. Eta's, Delta's and AKA's would always contact me if they needed social or professional assistance or just to talk shop. The pagentry of this event took me back to the days of my youth and reminded me of how important it is for women to have social and professional bonds such as this to ensure the upword mobility of our women and daughters. I admit that I probably had more fun than anyone here because I got to capture the amazing smiles in addition to listening to the elequent words of some highly educated women. Next year I hope they invite me instead of me having to show up and do my thing.

I've had the privilidge to photograph Mr Meredith over several years and find each encounter to be wholesome, educational and a reflection of what was and should not be allowed to happen again. I consider him a friend and confidant.

KenJavius Drake A New Heart Of Love Celabration at the Senior Citizens Building Greenville Mississippi April 28, 2012 : When Odelia called and said she had a job for me, I thought it would be great to photograph a 14 year old Get Well Party. I didn't know that KenJavius had heart trouble since birth. I didn't know that he spent a great deal of his life living with an illness that stopped him from being a kid. I've photographed many parties and many children. This is one that won't be forgotten or viewed as a typical gig. KenJavius and the Drake family demonstrated today what Love is all about. The ability to come together as one in unity to support a family member bringing joy and genuine respect and love to a forum where everyone can see it is a treasure that every family wants and needs. As you view these photographs remember that the Photographer was moved by what he saw. Thanks to the entire family especially the little kids. Thank you for reminding Mister Jones how to have fun. If I sub in your class I promise not to write anyone up for at least a week (smile). KenJavius get well my Young Friend and much success to you in everything you do. Thanks to the AirForce and Army Personnel that were on hand to share in this joyus occasion. To the ADC People that came out to honour KenJavius, good seeing you again. I'll make sure I drop in on you guys when I get to Memphis.
