Jamboree on the Trail : 3 of the more 'senior' Scouts from our partnered group and 1 Explorer took part in JOTT this year: walking through Hainault Forest to Thriftwood on the Saturday, and walking out around the Thriftwood area on the Sunday. The 3 Scouts were trying out for their Expedition Challenge, whilst the Explorer (and leaders...) had jumped at the chance to be the first in the Unit to try out our new hammocks. Unfortunately, the Scouts didn't quite finish their expedition but we all got to try out the hammocks!
