> On the 5 June 2007 a small group of Guernsey Climate Action Network (G-CAN) volunteers surveyed for litter and marine debris a small stretch of beach called Champ rouget on Guernsey's north coast. We returned on the 8 June 2007 which was World Ocean's Day to remove as much litter from the beach as possible. Much of the litter was of marine origin.
