Bill Almon Public Autograph Signing with Thirty Two-Eleven Industries; 7/15/09 : On July 15, 2009, ArmChair Quarterback Authentics will be holding a public autograph signing with former MLB star BILL ALMON at the American Legion Post 217, Plainville, MA from 6-8 PM. Almon played for 7 teams over 15 MLB seasons and was taken #1 overall in the 1974 MLB draft by the San Diego Padres. Almon led all Major League shortstops in putouts with 303 in 1977 and also led the National League in sacrifice hits with 20 that same year. Almon's best season was in the strike shortened 1981 campaign when, as an everyday shortstop for the Chicago White Sox, he hit .301 with 16 stolen bases. Almon played collegiate baseball at Brown University. Prices at show: Autograph tickets are $10.00 each item. Baseball Cards are $5.00. Dennis "Oil Can" Boyd Public Autograph Signing with Thirty Two-Eleven Industries; 7/15/09 : On July 15, 2009, ArmChair Quarterback Authentics will be holding a public autograph signing with former MLB star Dennis "Oil Can" Boyd at the American Legion Post 217, Plainville, MA from 6-8 PM. In a 10-season career, Boyd collected a 78-77 record with 799 strikeouts and a 4.04 ERA in 1389.2 innings. From 1983-85 Boyd won 31 games for Boston, with 15 victories in 1985. In the same season, he posted career-highs in games started (35), complete games (13), strikeouts (117) and innings pitched (272.1). In 1986 he won 16 games (a career-high).
