SunriseSunset > popular all-time > Clarkes Landing at Sunrise Just 2 miles from my house at the end of the road. Overlooking the Patuxent River at the confluence of Cuckold Creek, Nat's Creek, and Mill Creek. The sun is rising over the Governor Thomas Johnson Memorial Bridge, which crosses the Patuxent onto Solomon's Island in Calvert County.

SunriseSunset > popular all-time > Some of the best sunsets in the Southern Maryland area are watched from the boardwalk at Solomon's Island. The VERY best sunsets are seen from the bridge while you are driving over it. Why do they never install scenic overlooks on bridges :) I'll try to catch up with commenting over the long weekend, there are just so many of us now in the dailies :)
