 > Taken at the Cosby campground in the Smoky Mountains National Park about a week before color peaked.  The forest here is very uncluttered and the trees are tall and majestic.  Normally this type of shot would be somewhat of a cliche but the superb luminosity of the crown rescues this standout photo. Positioning carefully I was able to include the early morning sun that made this shot possible.
