April 1, 2011 Our tank! I thought I would share a shot of the entire tank, thank you for all the comments on my various coral shots. We are about to make some changes to this tank. The canister filter we currently have is being replaced with a sump filtration system, besides it being a healthier filtration system for the tank, it will also let us move all the hardware on the back of the tank to under the tank in the sump. The lights are also being updated, from the current T5's to Metal Halides. I love the shimmer of the water with MH's, can't wait for the new light to arrive. I have to thank my husband, Glenn, who does "ALL" the work on this tank. This is his baby, I have a little input when it comes to the inhabitants, but he studies, researches and does all the work. Even for this shot he became my assistant we had to drape a black cloth over the tank and then I crawled under with the camera and tripod so there would be no reflections on the glass. He kept the top of the fabric from hitting my head. This shot is for his office computer wallpaper.
