REST and relax for the day. We will not plan any activities today to ensure all participants get ample rest and acclimatise to the high altitudes.  There is a Doctor stationed at the hotel who can perform a checks on all participants to ensure fitness as well as to highlight all necessary precautionary measures to participants   Day 2 (Overnight in Lhasa)  A relaxing day at Tibet Museum  Visit the Tibet Museum to attain a better understanding of Tibet and her culture.  Tibetan Traditional Dinner followed by sharing of Photos and highlights of Photography in Tibet.   Day 3 (Overnight in Lhasa)  Sunrise at Potala palace, Drepung and Sera Temples 7am : set off for Sunrise shoot at Potala Palace (exterior) followed by another round of shooting at the Drepung Temple.  Lunch and rest at Hotel  Photography at Sera Temple where Tibetan prayers go about their praying sessions with chanting wheels   Day 4 (Overnight in Lhasa) 7am: set off to Jokhang Temple for Photography of morning prayers. Tibetan Buddhism Devotees comes in chanting wheels, prostrates and goes about their busy praying activities.  Afternoon : Visit the world famous Potala Palace.  Twilight photography of Potala Palace.   Day 5 (Overnight in Shigatse): Today, we will leave Lhasa and head to the Highlands, the group would have gotten used to the high altitudes by this day. Expect sudden weather changes while travelling in the highlands.  Set off to Shigatse. Stopping along the way to capture the beautiful and dramatic, out of this world scenery... Brahmaputra, Holy lakes Yangzhuoyongcuo and others..  Evening Photography of Tashilhunpo Monastery and around.   Day 6 (Overnight at Everest Base Camp 1) Photography of morning prayers at Tashihunpo Monastery Back to hotel for breakfast before setting off towards Everest Base Camp 1 Photography of Mt Everest during sunset into dusk. A ONCE in a lifetime experience for most of us.    Day 7 (Overnight at Gyangze):  Set off from Base Camp early at 6.50am.  There will be no breakfast provided this morning : participants are to prepare your own food (we will stop by supermarket whenever convenient)  More scenery shoots along the way at the roof top of the world.  Arrive at Palchoi Temple in the afternoon. Photography at Temple.   Day 8 (Overnight at Lhasa)  Morning Photography of Ancient Fortress before setting off towards Lhasa.  Photography of highlands along the way.    Day 9 (Overnight at Namco Lake) 7.30am : set off towards Namco Lake (the world highest lake). Photography of highlands, snow mountains and lakes..  Arrive at Namco Lake in the evening. Shoot at Namco Lake and Lama who resides in a cave   Day 10 (Overnight at Lhasa)  Set off toward Lhasa  Sunrise and morning shoot at Namco.  Arrive at Lhasa late afternoon.  Check in hotel and set off for another round of sunset shoot of the Potala.   Day 11  Lhasa - Chengdu - Singapore CA 4402 : 0950hrs - 1130hrs CA 403 : 2000hrs - 0040hrs (+1 day) Arrive at Chengdu, proceed for lunch.  Arrive at Chengdu, proceed for lunch.  Photography of 100s year old traditional  teahouse. Head to airport for flight home    Nature : Learn as you shoot and play. Adventure in the highlands!  Join us as we shoot at the rooftop of the World. We have since conducted 8  trips to this area (with slight variations to locations) and some of our participants have joined us on more than 1 occasion.   Itinerary is carefully planned to ensure every participant will go back with Photos that you are proud to share and memories to last a lifetime. Genre : Culture, Landscape, Travel    Special attention to pay:   Package Price covers all local transport, accommodation and meals. Also covers: Namco Admission, Everest pass, vehicle into the Peak gate and all related charges, unless otherwise specified.   1, Meals do not include alcohol, participants who wishes to drink will have to foot your own bill. (But, it is discouraged to drink and smoke in the high altitude)  2, As the driver has to accompany us every day from early morning to night, traveling on the plateau, they will be tired out. When we are back to Lhasa, we will collect from each participant 7usd a day as tips to the driver and local guide.   3, Other than Lhasa, we cannot guarantee that there will be standard double rooms available.   4, In principle, monies paid will not be refunded after participants has reported at Chengdu. We will however, look into isolated case should one develops strong reaction to the altitude.  5, Participants need to have valid passport and the Tibet region passes which will be examined when we pass into the Everest.   ** Important point to note:  Traveling in Tibet requires application of a Tibet Permit as specified by the Chinese government. Approval of application is not within our control. In the event where there are political unrest or any other reasons (not controllable by us), the Chinese govt may reject or withdraw Permits. In such instances, all monies already paid to any parties will not be refundable. However, all monies that are not used or are refunded by the associated authorities will be fully refunded to the participant.   Package Price :  S$4200 this cover  Special Passes and Permits as well as tour guide fees for the trip. The Chinese government specifies that foreigners traveling in Tibet and esp the Everest Region need to be accompanied by local tourist guide and other special permits.)   Transport out of Lhasa:  3 participants to a 7-seater Jeep (Toyota Prado or similar).  for maximum space and comfort  Transport in Lhasa: Luxury Coach  Total number of participants are limited to maximum of 12. This is to ensure that all will be well taken care of in the high altitude and maximum attention can be paid to all participants.  ****** we advice all participants to take precautionary anti-altitude sickness pills. We will help to purchase this herbal medication, 高原安 which has been used by all previous participants   ****** interested parties with stroke / heart-related problems are to seek doctor's advice before committing to the trip.
