2013, February's photo's : February started with a pair of 37s on a test train, at Kirkby in Ashfield. On the 13th-single unit MPV heading on to the High Marnham test track & Medite liveried 66709, both at Thoresby. A trip to Newark on the 16th for 91007 in Skyfall livery, then down to Cossington for a pair of Network Rail 57s plus 4965 Rood Ashton Hall. Then it was to Mansfield Woodhouse on the 26th for 31285, unfortunately it came in DBSO leading, but still managed some shots. The month then went out on a high, with 'BARS' 31190 (D5613) on a road learner to Thoresby, I never expected to see a 31 in original green livery on the former LD&ECR again. These replaced the Robinson O4s working the local coal trains, although it was the later batch in the D58XX series, that were allocated to Darnall. It would be about fifty years ago now, I doubt that any of the 66s will last that long !! Also picked up some more pics of 66709, in some brighter weather this time.

2013, January's photo's : First pics of the year are of the UK Railtours trip to High Marnham, mostly taken at the former LD&ECR station at Ollerton, including shots of the presenting of cheques to Action for Children charity, taken for & on behalf of the RIDC. A short hop to Thoresby on the 9th, for 66742, thats another one 'chalked off' at Thoresby. On the 10th I went to Clay Cross for 56301, and yes, the sun disappeared after shining for most of the day!!
