Vaughan Town - Gredos '08 : Having previously done a stint in 2007 at the immersion-style, English language course for Spanish speakers organised by Vaughan Systems at Gredos, (see: http://www.vaughantown.com/EnglishNew/indexenglish.asp) I felt it was time for a return visit to ‘Vaughan Town' at the Hotel Puerta de Gredos, on the outskirts of El Barco de Avila..

Once again I set up home for another 6 days with a group of Spaniards and native English speakers ... where all you do is talk, talk, talk ... plus, more than the occasional bit (well, actually, quite a lot of) late night partying, dancing etc. ~ plus a particularly raucous bout of karaoke

Click on an image to view it at a larger size; and since the images were re-sized for this website, should you want a copy of the original 5-7MP photo, please contact me at swebster@newtelsurf.com

I’ve noticed that these galleries are getting a lot of hits from people ‘Googling’ various aspects of both VaughanTown & Pueblo Ingles ….. if this happens to be you, I’d’ be very grateful if you would add some comments to the gallery, and perhaps how they may have influenced your thoughts on attending either of these language programmes.

Many Thanks .. Stewart

Vaughan Town - Gredos '07 : Having twice done stints at the immersion-style, English language course for Spanish speakers organised by Pueblo Ingles, I thought I would try out the same type of programme as offered by Vaughan Systems at VaughanTown. (See: http://www.vaughantown.com/english/indexenglish.asp )

Until the middle of 2006, this programme was offered by just the one, joint company; but in March 2006, Richard Vaughan, the founder, disassociated himself and his parent company, Vaughan Systems, from what then became Pueblo Ingles, and set up his own organisation, called ‘Vaughan Town' at the Hotel Puerta de Gredos, on the outskirts of El Barco de Avila..

This is where I set up home for 6 days with an (almost) equal number of Spanish speakers and native English speakers ... where all you do is talk, talk, talk ... plus, (slightly more than) the occasional bit of late night partying, dancing etc.
