Wildlife > popular today > "I am CUTE"
Photo of the day,September,24th,2008 as i was busy looking for moose, i stopped at small parking area near main road and i just set my hand on a window of the vehicle to relax a bit and i look up....here he was standing like saying "Take my PIC"...I aimed my 300 mm lens at him and click click i got him....soon i realized there was another vehicle behind me....we both were quiet and deer was relaxed allowing us to take shots....until some bull head arrived and stopped his car slammed the door on other site of the road blocking main road half a way....ofcourse deer took off...i yelled why did u slammed the door...his answer was he was affraid as big truck was approaching him...Wow no chit...has he ever been around wildlife i wondered while he drove off...makes me very upset how people act around wildlife...kids screaming, slamming doors, talking and screaming loud etc etc...i try to avoid at any cost crowds ....i somehow find my way into the woods without bothering anyone and realy enjoying what they call VIEWING WILDLIFE....Viewing wildlife means pshhhhhhhhhh quiet, sit on a rock for 3 hours and just watch....that is my way of viewing wildlife...Wish i could sleep here and hybernate with the bears for a winter so i dont have to see another dumb human like that guy that slammed the door..sorry i got caried away...Thanks for viewing my work and suporting with your coments....CLICK on this image for better VIEWING....
Wildlife > popular today > "MOM you go FIRST"
Photo of the Day, September,23rd,2008...I watched this pair and thought of kids some of us raised and how animals are more smarter then some kids of today...This young moose calf came to the edge of this little rock island all alone and stood there (view it in my next photo)for a about 5 minutes....turned around and came back to his mom Moose...She nicely led the way and he follow...Comparing to kids i have seen in my life i found that this moose calf was much smarter and follow the mom...nicely without questions asked...can he ask the question anyway? Well maybe not...but it has proven to me that animals might be smarter in their own way then some humans..It was fascinating capturing this treasure..Captured with 300 mm nikon prime lens...For BETTER viewing click on a photo to view in larger format
