Relae Copenhagen 2012 08 : Dinner at Relae Copenhagen, one Michelin Star and #75 on San Pelligrino's top 50 restaurants in the world.
The food was very nice. Unfortunately the experience was dampened by the attitude towards mothers and babies, I can understand policies though for my mind it's best to tell people up front not after they have breached one, particularly having called days in advance and asked about bringing a baby. At which time we were told there was no room for a pram and it was otherwise ok. Then would have been a good time to mention policies on feeding.
Four stars for the food, ****
Three for the experience ***

dabbous london 2012 : Lunch at Dabbous, a Saturday indulgence that was one wonderful meal at a surprising price. For the quality and artistry in the dishes I would not have been surprised at paying more, thankfully we didn't have to. A casual environment is maintained, making for a relaxed and very tasty meal.
A five star delight. *****

Noma Copenhagen 2012 06 : Noma take two! This time we lunched at Noma, who have just won for the third year in a row best restaurant in the world, 2010, 2011, 2012. http://www.theworlds50best.com/awards/1-50-winners/
Once again it was a great experience and everything was fantastic. The only thing that made it a lesser experience than our first time there was in it not being the same surprise and wow factor with each dish being a new experience.
With one diner not eating mussels, and another not eating raw meats or drinking alcohol we also had the opportunity to see a couple of substitute dishes and the paired juice menu, the latter being particularly impressive and consisting of, cucumber / dill, white currant / pine, celery / celeriac, carrot / juniper, beet / lingonberry, pear / verbena, elderflower.
Again, most impressive! Five stars. *****
