"VIVA, LAS VEGAS!" 2006
My best friend (of 18 years) treated me to an all-expenses paid trip to Las Vegas, NV ("The Entertainment Capital of the World," "Sin City," "Capital of Second Chances," "The Marriage Capital of the World," "Lost Wages") for my birthday. We flew from the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFWIA) and this was my absolute first time flying in an airplane!! I arrived at their home on June 3, 2006, where I spent the days preceding our trip. While there, we were pampered with a manicure and pedicure.
Love it or hate it; Las Vegas is gaudy, beautiful, fun, and along with Walt Disney World, one of the best places for photo opps I've ever visited. You don’t have to be a high roller a roulette winner to do Vegas in style!! Contrary to popular belief, there are so many "sinless" things to do and see in "Sin City" other than gamble (which I have never had a desire to do). Although I took about 600+ photos with my Eastman Kodak C643 (6.1.MP), I've chosen a very select few to include in this gallery. We had a blast!!!!
