extreme rafting & kayaking
Welcome to the world of extreme whitewater rafting and kayaking.
I strongly recommend that all who view these images, DO NOT attempt to try this for it is inherently and obviously VERY DANGEROUS!!
The boaters in these photos are highly skilled finely tuned and quite possibly just a bit CRAZY, but they are all very good at what they do.
In the raft is Dan McCain from Helena, Montana and Ben Sigler from Corvallis, Oregon, the raft is a Sotar Classic provided by Sotar rafts located in Merlin, Oregon.

Life in general is dangerous and we all walk on the edge, some of us just prefer to walk a little closer than most because you never feel more alive than when you walk the tight rope and peer over the edge.

This is a new site and new content is being added nearly every day so if you don't see what you are looking for yet be sure and check back often, or feel free to send me an email at paultnature@yahoo.com and request a photo.
All the images are available for purchase as prints in many sizes and paper types, for licenseing information or downloads please contact me directly at the email address above or by phone at 360-635-1272.
Also please offer me feedback on print quality and response time for any print orders you make, you're satisfaction is very important to me and I strive to make your photo buying experience a good one.

Dan McCain and Ben Sigler running Spirit Falls on the Little White Salmon River in the Columbia River Gorge Washington state. This run is as serious as it gets, the Little White is a class 5+ river and kayakers come from the world over to run this river.Very few rafters however challenge the rapids of this river and this is one of very few raft runs of this falls.
Hahns Hoomans and George White making the first raft attempt of Punch Bowl Falls on Eagle Creek in the Columbia River Gorge Oregon, may 30th 2009. They were ultimately unsuccessful on this run and were folloed minutes later by Dan McCain and Ben Sigler who were successful thus making the first raft run of the falls.
