Recently, I had the pleasure to do a couple of photo shoots at Twin Cities's newest Malaysian restaurant, the "Peninsula Malaysian Cuisine" on 'Eat Street' (Nicollet Ave). Hopefully some of these photos would be used for their menu. Food photography wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. To me, perhaps it was mainly the big temptation to eat it before shooting! LOL I took these with my standard Canon 18-55mm lens, with dishes placed inside a DIY 'light box' I made using 4 white foam boards for light bouncing.
