perhaps I was too hard on the weatherman yesterday. so this one's not that great a shot, but one intended to bring up a couple of questions.

first, at what point can you consider the sky neutral gray?
second, I always seem to have spikes in the red channel. now, I understand it w/ point lights like these, but I also get it w/ bright red flowers. any particular technique in preventing this?
