Camp for Diabetic Children ... where they learn to manage their condition and be a kid.
This sign is our first indication thst we made it at last.
As we arrved to our weekend destination we are greeted by this sign hope for many children with diabetes. This center was built with the help of the Lions of MD33. This camp is one of the reasons why, we do what we do.
This is one of several cabins that hsve become a home away from home for the campers that come here to learn to manage their challenge. A LCIF grant helped to build several of these cabins.
The lake is frozen this cold day in March but soon it will be refreshing campers having the time of their lives. The building in the back ground is the rear view of the conference center.
A small bridge leading to more cabins on the opposite side of the lake from the center.
More cabins housing the camp staff.
The symbol of strength of our proud nation passing over the center. I wish there were campers here at this moment in time to share it's beauty as it soared silently by.
The moon rising above the cabin at dusk.
This walk is composed of 1000's of bricks naming the contributors.
