Not my best effort. Almost didn't pick up a camera today. Just read Dan Margulis' B&W conversion chapter in the draft 5th edition of Professional Photoshop, so I thought I'd give it a try. Looks too harsh to me.

Out My Window

Well, I'm no competition for Nonda, The Queen of Squirrels, but I do have a nest of them outside my office window and this Big Ma 50-500mm lens I got from Steve Cavigliano, so shooting them out the window will do for an easy daily.

Braeburn Dog Walk

There is sort of a photographic curse of Waban. Taking the dog for a walk with the dog and the camera from my front door almost never results in a keeper. Still, I love my village. Maybe I'll figure it out someday.

What She Left Behind

My daughter was a star runner until the end of her sophomore year in high school when she started to have serious problems with her shins. Ultimately this was diagnosed as stress syndrome and ended her running career. Her coach was a dope about smart training.
