Another view of the debris and damage surrounding St. Joseph Hall just prior to it being torn down due to unrecoverable damage. The walkway to the Our Lady of the Woods shrine is to the right of the photo (with the shrine at the far end of the walkway). As you can see, the statue of Our Lady was not damaged in storm. It appears that some new trees are needed to line the walkway to the shrine. At the time it was erected in 1858, the shrine was nestled in deep woods.
