A few colleagues and I were chosen to attend the "CFTTC," designed for university faculty, administrators, and IT professionals interested in exploring the application of informational technology in higher education institutions and discovering how new media can best be integrated into the teaching and learning process. It is Mississippi's only statewide technology conference and trade show for post-secondary education. http://sbcjcweb.sbcjc.cc.ms.us/conf/default.asp. We lodged at this resort and the conference was held here. Furthermore, on March 3, 2011, after attending morning workshops, we also attended the keynote luncheon and listened to the keynote speaker, Major General Reuben Jones - Commander, Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Command. Additionally, prior to this trip, the last time I had visited Biloxi was with my best friend for our "Girlfriends Get-Her-Way" 2008.
