Donor Engine - Buick 231 Even Fire (Turbo)
If I leave the 231 stock and keep the turbo, it will produce around 345hp, but as it sits I think it may need an overhaul. So, if I were to go ahead and farm that out the money would go just as well to having it ported, polished, bored, blue-printed, and balanced, which will easily bump it up to ~500hp.

Off to the fireman training school for this heartless relic. The T-type had a crappy break system in it to begin with, so I didn't waste time salvaging anything else other that the computer and radiator. It was really amazing to see how far back in the car the engine sat. This makes a pretty good argument for just how much power these engines really produce. My research has indicated that Buick marked this model as being able to produce 245hp, but appearnetly this was to meat some EPA guideline. Supposedly, the engine really put out something in the neighborhood of 345hp. I havent confirmed this, so don't take my word on it.
