The Notre Dame Club of Memphis volunteer team performed magnificently at the 130th St. Peters Picnic on Sunday, July 3, 11am-8pm. This year marked the 10th anniversary of the Notre Dame Club's participation in this great community event. Great effort, team!
Community Service Coordinator, David Wade, reported the following news. "Jim Lukawitz [Picnic Chairman] just confirmed that, since we have at least 5 people per shift, he will give us 3 game booths to run, all three right next to each other. Way to step up to the plate, ND Club of Memphis!" [See David's updated report at the end of this article].
The club was originally asked to acquire 12 volunteers to man two booths. Since 21 volunteers signed up, a third booth was added.
