> this is a 200% comparison between (click on image and view at original size) a silverfast 1 pass scan, and a 16 pass scan. (I chose a slightly dark / underexposed chrome to test on purpose). This is part of the image to the left of the eye on the left side of the frame) I scanned these images on an epson v750 at 1200 dpi at original size (about 3.8 inches by 4.2 inches). No Photoshopping / USM / color correction
