On August 6, 2004 I toured the gardens of Nuestras Raíces ("Our Roots"). Gardeners include youth and adults from the community - about 100 plots in 7 gardens. I was part of a team judging the gardens. Two years later, I was again invited to visit. See separate gallery of 2006 photos.
