The Buffalo Soldiers of the Arizona Territory - Ladies and Gentlemen of the Regiment is an "INDEPENDENT ORGANIZATION".

Homegoing Celebration to Mrs. Kennetha Gwin, Lady of the Regiment on September 27, 2011.

Funeral Service October 1, 2011 at Refreshed Spirit of Faith Ministries, Phoenix, AZ.

Kennetha and her family moved to Mesa, Arizona in December of 1997, where she established a good foundation for her family. Kennetha served as an active member of the Buffalo Soldiers of the Arizona Territory - Ladies and Gentlemen of the Regiment, Headquarters Mesa, Arizona, where she acted as the Secretary and
as The Lady of the Regiment, April 19, 2009 through September 27, 2011. Her husband James Gwin is an active member of the organization until his illiness.

The family requested the organization to give Kennetha an Buffalo Soldiers Funeral with the folding of the Buffalo Soldiers of the Arizona Territory, Mesa, AZ flag drapped across her casket. The Ladies of the Regiment provided a poem on her behalf and gifts to the family.

POEM: Today we want to honor you, for all that you do. To be a woman is an amazing feat and you are one that no one can beat. So as a Lady of the Regiment, we hope that you can see, in our hearts you will always be dear. You're the spiritual woman to all of us here!

Cmdr David Carrasco, POW/MIA/KIA Prayer: Lord, if your people still have need of my services, I will not avoid the toll and your "WILL" be done. I have fought the good fight long enough, yet if you bid me to continue the battle line in defense of your camp I will. I will never beg to be excused from failing strength. I will do the work you entrust to me. While in command, I will fight beneath your banner.

Folding of the organization flag were carried out by Cmdr Fred Marable, Pvt. Michelle London-Marable, Lt. Edward Reece (Buffalo Soldiers) and Cmdr David Carrasco (POW/MIA/KIA). Honorary Pallbearers: Cmdr Fred Marable, Lt. Edward Reece, Pvt. Michelle London-Marable (Buffalo Soldiers) and Cmdr David Carrasco, Greg Carter, Tuan Lee, John Keth, Valentine Costalez, and Derrick Etters (POW/MIA/KIA) and Navy Wave Yoma 1st Class Helen Coyte (WWII) and Denie, Ladies of the (POW/MIA/KIA).

Buffalo Soldiers of the Arizona Territory: Cmdr Fred Marable, Pvt. Michelle London-Marable, Lt. Edward Reece, Chaplain William Jefferson and Young Buffalo Soldier LaMarr Gaines.

Ladies of the Regiment: Danielle Jackson, Armella Gaines, Fae Haynes and Rhonda Cousin.
