2nd Annual Maricopa County Unity Ride Honoring Veterans, American Legion Post #41, Phoenix, AZ
Dear Fred Marable,
I'd like to invite you to speak on behalf of the historical Buffalo Soldiers at our 2nd Annual Maricopa County Valley Ride Honoring Veterans on November 5, 2011. Although this is a fund-raising event, our other goals for this event include honoring our Veterans and promoting unity by sharing various cultures within the Maricopa County communities.
For our communities to progress, we must also be aware of our historical past. I firmly believe that knowledge of the Buffalo Soldiers will be strongly received at our event. The audience will quickly become aware how valuable the buffalo Soldiers were towards Arizona achieving its statehood. This event is an excellent venue for recognizing historical Veterans and also improving cultural awareness and knowledge.
Thank you and your organization for not only honoring our past Veterans but also promoting diversity and culture awareness.
Presented by Maricopa County Combined Charity Campaign. Proceeds go to help support homeless Veterans through the Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS) and families of fallen officers and fire fighters through the 100 Club of Arizona.
