SOCIAL CIRCLES FOR JUSTICE. Today's policical discourse is often fragmented and polarized, preventing many people from getting involved in the democratic process. We have developed a new model for civic engagement called "Social Circles of Justice" which creates a respectful space for the exchange of knowledge in and ideas. The format is similar to World Cafe's where participants from a range of perspectives are seated at small round tables and move to tables throughout the event, thereby encountering a wide variety of different perspectives.
Dr. C.T. Wright, from "Social Circle", Georgia has been a visionary educational leader and human rights pioneer, most notably as President of Cheyney University and President and CEO of the International Foundation for Education and Self-Help where he worked hand-in-hand with Reverend Leon Sullivan.
