This gallery represents photos taken within 30 minutes of Sunset on Jan. 18, 2012. Apex predators were out in force: White-tailed Kites, Red-tailed Hawks, Gray Foxes, and American Kestrels. As these are high ISO, little Lightroom processing was done - basically cropping. Wanted to share the sequence of Coyote photos, the Kite hovering and the Red-tail dominating the electric tower. Last photo of White-tailed Kite flying over Artesian Way. Last week when I visited at dusk, I observed both Coyotes in the canyon and was treated to their calls. Ah wilderness!
