The artist tries to capture a moment when the subject is "right". The painting is a personal thought that she observes, thinks and feels.
Dee enjoys a variety of topics from landscapes, flowers, and found still-life. Sometimes the focus of painting is a different media using watercolor, gouache, acrylic and ink. She likes the challenge of creating something unusual out of everyday life or providing the viewer with an unexpected look of the ordinary. Depicting a thought, which is improvise or actually, is a part of her life.
