The 10th Annual African-American Legislative Leadership Dinner. 'An Evening with Danny Glover, Motivational Speaker, Acclaimed Actor and Leading Social Activist.
Hosted by Senator Leah Landrum Taylor, District 16, the conference was to feature actor and activist Danny Glover, but because of a last minute emergency he was unable to attend. Stepping in for Danny Glover was South Phoenis Justice of the Peace, Judge Cody Williams.

DANNY GLOVER...From Places in the Heart and the Lethal Weapon series to the award-winning To Sleep with Anger (which he also executive produced). Danny Glover is one of Hollywood's most reowned and respected leading men, An actor, producer, and director, this versatile superstar has impacted stage, screen, and television for over a decade.
To Sleep With Anter marked Glovers debut as an executive producer. Other films produced by Glover include The Saint of Fort Washington, HBOs Americans Dreams series for Black History Month; the HBO-BBC movie Deadly Voyage, based on a true story of eight African stowaways who were slaughtered on high seas by Ukrainian frieghter crew; TNTs "BUFFALO SOLDIERS", a dramatic story of Americas first all-black cavalry unit; and TNTs Freedom Song, a story about the civil rights movement.
