Fitzhugh Turner in his pretty dark blue Comet. I've crewed with Fitz before, and he is a wonderful skipper.... just one thing any crew should know about Fitz. When he calls "TACK!" it is without any warning! The moment that utterence comes out of his mouth he is already halfway through tacking the boat. This could happen at any time... not just on intense starts, but even when you are leisurely making your way down the Corsica River on a windless day. I never quite figured out the urgency, other than to chalk this up as a quirk, so to speak. So my advice, if you sail with Fitz, best stay alert or lose your head!
