Remember this from Winter. This is what it looks like now. This is up at DeSoto Wildlife refuge.
Temps were suppose to be in the 70's today, so I thought it might be a good day to finally go kayaking. The 20 mph winds almost stopped me, but I decided that if I wait for the winds to subside, then I'll never get the kayak out. The wind NEVER stops blowing around here. So I headed up to DeSoto. It is a horseshoe shaped lake, so I figured that somewhere on the lake it would be protected from the wind. And I was right. Up around the bend it was fairly decent and I had a wonderful day.
