From a sunny and bright Debre Birhan we drove up to Gemessa Gedel, THE place for Ankober Serin. As we approached the last few kilometres, clouds and mist appeared, then rain!
Luckily Gemessa Gedel itself had no rain, only thick mist and clouds. Of course, at 3.260 meters above sea level, this is probably the norm here.
The afternoon was spent driving back to Addis, then checking in to my hotel for the next two nights, the Lions Den Hotel.
