 > Here is the typical picture of the 2 boxes from Van's. It' ironic that the box was damaged right where the label indicated "Fragile, High Dollar Aircraft Parts, Handle With Care." Fortunately, non of the parts were damaged.

 > I inventoried all of the parts. This took a few hours. Nothing was missing. I was a little disappointed in the quality of workmanship in one of the sub kits (Sub Kit B). The parts were dirty, the cuts were somewhat jagged, and there were some deep scratches in the metal. I'm thinking of calling Van's and requesting a new sub-kit. This sub-kit just did not have the same workmanship as the others. I wonder if it was a different vendor??
 > This is a photo of one leg of the H support I used during the construction of the empannage components. The base has 4 lag bolts with large washers and nuts. I use the lag bolts and nuts to "press" the top of the leg against the floor joists above.
 > Me starting on the forward HS spars. It looks like I was having a bad hair day. Oh well!
