 > This is the booth I constructed for priming parts. It uses 4 pcs of conduit for the "legs" and three rectangles constructed out of 2-by-3s. The top rectangle has wire mesh stapled to it so that I can easily hang parts. I cut several strips that I laid across the middle rectangle and used to support various parts. Cables, turnbuckles, and eye screws were used to keep it rigid. Lastly, I used plastic to cover the top and the sides. I cut a hole in one side for access. You can see the air hose on the right side connected to a filter/water seperator.

I didn't want to spend a lot of money for the paint booth. Overall, I was able to get by for less than $100 and $60 of that was for the attic fan that you'll see in the following photos. Moreover, this paint booth breaks down in 10 minutes and can easily be stored.

 > I used an attic fan and some ductwork that I purchased at Home Depot to create an airflow that would pull the excess primer and fumes away from me. I bought cheap furnace filters that I put in front of the fan to capture the primer overspray. I was a little concerned that the primer and the motor might lead to a combustion event but the primer wasn't flamable and the filter helped to trap nearly all of the overspray.

This picture also shows the conduit, turnbuckles, and cables.
