Leyden Co. along hiway 93 north of golden co.
Once again, a place that we always drive by but never stop. Well I decided to jump the fence and see what could be found. Not much really, Abandoned mine but picked clean of anything and everything until a baby deer ran past me in the valley below. Then the parents, but they ran the other way in to a box canyon. Well I thought I could get some good shots thinking they had to come right below me in valley at some point. Nope, they went right up the canyon wall. about 8 bucks 4 to 5 points and one doe who took a different way. and the baby, well it was left behind, with it's one ear hanging down not knowing what to do now it was alone.
